Description
Bulbophyllum chrysochilum (also called Golden-haired Bulbophyllum, among many other common names) is an epiphytic orchid. It is native to tropical regions of South America, and is found in moist, shady habitats. It has small, round, yellow-green flowers with a reddish-brown underside, and small, white petals.
Cultivation and Propagation
Bulbophyllum chrysochilum is a low-maintenance plant that can be propagated from stem cuttings. To propagate, take a stem cutting from a healthy plant and place it in a pot filled with moist soil. Keep the soil moist and the cutting should take root in a few weeks. It can also be propagated from seed, but this is a slower process.
