Description
Bulbophyllum aechmophorum (also called 'Cobra Orchid', among many other common names) is a small epiphytic orchid species native to the tropical rainforests of South-East Asia. It has long, thin, and wiry stems, and small, yellowish-green flowers with a purple lip. It grows in humid, shady environments, usually on the trunks of trees.

Bulbophyllum aechmophorum is a slow-growing epiphytic orchid that prefers a well-drained soil and partial shade. Propagation is by division or by seed, which should be sown in a well-drained, sandy soil. The seedlings should be kept moist and in a warm, shady location.
