Description
Brassavola angustata (also called 'Narrow-leaved Brassavola', among many other common names) is a species of evergreen orchid native to Central and South America. It typically grows to a height of 30-60cm, and has narrow, lance-shaped leaves. It is typically found in tropical forests, and prefers moist, well-drained soils.

Brassavola angustata can be propagated by seed, cuttings, or layering. Seeds should be sown in a cold frame as soon as they are ripe. Cuttings of half-ripe wood, 5 - 8 cm with a heel, July/August in a frame. Layering in spring. Division of suckers in spring.
