Barkeria scandens (also called Climbing barkeria, among many other common names) is a species of orchid native to Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. It is found in wet montane forests, often growing on trees or rocks, at elevations of 500-2000 meters.
