                        Description
                        
                            Arthrochilus prolixus (also called Prolix Arthrochilus, among many other common names) is a small terrestrial orchid with a creeping rhizome and short stems. It is native to Australia and New Zealand, and is found growing in wet montane forests. The plant has small, ovate leaves and produces small, white flowers with a yellow lip.
