                        Description
                        
                            Aeridostachya clavimentalis (also called Clubhead Hairgrass, among many other common names) is an annual grass native to Africa and Asia. It is a tufted grass with short, narrow leaves and erect stems that are up to 30 cm tall. It grows in meadows, pastures, grasslands and other open habitats.

                            Aeridostachya clavimentalis has been used in traditional medicine for the treatment of fever, headache, and rheumatism.
