                        Description
                        
                            Acianthera sigmoidea (also called 'Sigmoid Acianthera', among many other common names) is an epiphytic orchid species native to Ecuador. It has short, thin stems, and its leaves are lanceolate and pointed. It grows in humid, shady forests, often near streams.
