Octoknema dinklagei (also called Dinklage's Octoknema, among many other common names) is an evergreen shrub or small tree that grows up to 5 m tall. It is native to tropical Africa, specifically Angola, Botswana, Namibia, and South Africa. It is commonly found in dry forests, woodlands, and savannas.

The flower of Octoknema dinklagei is white, with five petals and yellow anthers. The seed is a small, black, ovoid drupe. The seedlings are initially pale green, turning dark green as they mature.
