Aeschynomene evenia (also called Even's aeschynomene, among many other common names) is an annual herb native to South America. It has an upright, spreading habit and grows to a height of 0.2–0.5 m. The leaves are alternate, simple, and oblong-lanceolate. It grows in open, dry, rocky areas and in grasslands.
