Cyperus sphaeroideus (also called Globe-headed Flatsedge, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to Africa, Madagascar, and the Arabian Peninsula. It has a tufted habit and grows to a height of 15-30 cm. It is found in moist grasslands, woodlands, and forests.
