Description
Cyperus crypsoides (also called African umbrella sedge, among many other common names) is a perennial grass-like plant native to tropical Africa. It grows in wet soils and is found in swamps, marshes, and along the banks of streams and rivers. It has a creeping rhizome and long, flat leaves that grow in a fan-like pattern.
