                            Wamalchitamia williamsii (also called Williams' wamalchitamia, among many other common names) is an evergreen shrub in the family Melastomataceae. It has opposite, simple leaves and white flowers. It is native to the Caribbean, Central America, and South America, and is found in humid montane forests.
