                            Waitzia nitida (also called 'Shiny Waitzia', among many other common names) is a perennial plant native to the Andes Mountains in South America. It has a rosette of basal leaves and a single stem with a yellow flower head. It is found in moist meadows, pastures, and open woodlands.
