Description
Vernonia loandensis (also called Loanda Ironweed, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to Angola, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. It grows in moist grasslands, woodlands, and savannas.

Vernonia loandensis has small, yellow flowers with five petals. Its seeds are small and black, and its seedlings have oval-shaped leaves.
Cultivation and Propagation
Vernonia loandensis is a hardy, evergreen shrub that grows in full sun to partial shade. It is tolerant of a wide range of soils and can be propagated by seed or cuttings.
