                        Description
                        
                            Vernonanthura petiolaris (also called Petiolate Vernonanthura, among many other common names) is an evergreen shrub native to South America. It has a rounded form and can reach up to 2 m in height. Its leaves are alternate, oblong-lanceolate, and up to 8 cm long. It is found in montane forests and shrublands, usually between 2,000 and 3,000 m above sea level.
