Tragopogon bakhtiaricus (also called Bakhtiari Salsify, among many other common names) is an annual or biennial herbaceous plant in the daisy family Asteraceae. It has a basal rosette of leaves, and yellow flower heads with a single row of ray florets. It is native to Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, and it grows in dry grassland, meadows, and other disturbed habitats.
