                            Tomentaurum vandevenderorum (also called Vandevender's woolly-heads, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the western United States. It has a thick, woolly stem and small, white flowers. It typically grows in dry, sandy areas and can be found in deserts, grasslands, and chaparral habitats.
