Description

Taraxacum maderense (also called Madeira Dandelion, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the Madeira Islands. It has a single, erect stem that can reach up to 0.5 m in height. Its leaves are alternate, simple, and bipinnatifid with a toothed margin. It is found in grasslands and open woodlands.
