Description

Taraxacum longicorne (also called Long-horned Dandelion, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to Europe and North Africa. It has a basal rosette of leaves and a single stem with a few branches. The leaves are lanceolate, with a long petiole and a serrated margin. The flowers are yellow, with five petals and a yellow center. It grows in meadows, open woods, and roadsides.
