                            Synotis fulvipes (also called yellow-footed synotis, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the southeastern United States. It has a woody stem and can reach up to 1.5 meters in height. Its leaves are opposite and have toothed margins. It is found in open woods, thickets, and roadsides.
