Synotis brevipappa (also called Short-Stalked Synotis, among many other common names) is an annual plant native to the Mediterranean region. It has a deep taproot and grows up to 0.5 m tall. Its leaves are alternate, lanceolate to oblong-lanceolate, and its flowers are yellow. It prefers sunny and dry habitats.
