Symphyotrichum elliottii is an evergreen shrub that can be propagated by cuttings or by seed. Cuttings should be taken from semi-hardwood or hardwood stems and planted in a well-draining potting mix. Seeds should be sown in a sterile potting mix and kept moist until germination. The seedlings should be transplanted to individual pots when they are large enough to handle.
