                        Description
                        
                            Stenocephalum hystrix (also called Chinese silvergrass, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to China, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. It is found in grasslands, meadows, and open woodlands. It has a clumping habit and grows to a height of 2-3 feet with a spread of 1-2 feet.
