Stachycephalum asplundii is a perennial plant that can be propagated by division or by seed. It can be grown in full sun to partial shade and prefers moist, well-drained soil. It is best to divide the plant in early spring or late fall. To propagate by seed, sow the seeds in a cold frame in early spring. The seeds should be sown in a light, sandy soil and lightly covered. Keep the soil moist and the seedlings should emerge in about two weeks.
