                        Cultivation and Propagation

Sonchus maculigerus is an easy-to-grow annual flower that can be propagated from seed. It prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Sow the seeds directly in the garden in spring or start them indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. The seeds should be sown in a shallow trench and lightly covered with soil. Keep the soil moist until germination. Thin the seedlings to 12-18 inches apart when they are 2-3 inches tall.
