                            Silphium mohrii (also called Mohr's rosinweed, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the southeastern United States. It has a rosette of leaves with a single flower head. The leaves are lanceolate and have a white midrib. The flowers are yellow and have a single pistil. It grows in dry, sandy soils in open woodlands and prairies.
