                        Cultivation and Propagation

Senecio spartioides is an annual that can be propagated by seed. It prefers full sun and well-drained soils. Seeds should be sown in the fall or early spring and lightly covered with soil. The seedlings should be thinned to allow for adequate air circulation and space for the plants to grow. Once established, it is drought tolerant and can tolerate a wide range of soils.
