                            Senecio seminiveus (also called white-rayed ragwort, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. It grows to a height of up to 1 meter and has a shallow root system. It is found in dry, open areas, including rocky slopes, grasslands, and chaparral.
