                            Scolymus maculatus (also called 'Scolymus', 'Scolymus maculatus', 'Scolymus maculatus var. maculatus', 'Scolymus maculatus var. tenuifolius', 'Scolymus tenuifolius' among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the daisy family. It is native to the Mediterranean region and is found in dry, rocky habitats. It is a low-growing, mat-forming, evergreen perennial with small, linear, grey-green leaves and solitary, yellow daisy-like flowers in summer.
