                            Saussurea stella (also called Star-shaped Saussurea, among many other common names) is an annual herbaceous plant native to the Himalayas. It has a single stem that grows up to 30 cm tall, with deeply lobed leaves and small white flowers. It prefers dry, sunny habitats such as meadows, roadsides, and open woods.
