Description
                        
                            Saussurea lipschitzii (also called Lipschitz's Saussurea, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the daisy family. It is native to Mexico and is found in open meadows, grasslands, and rocky slopes. It is an annual herb with a single stem, growing up to 20 cm tall. Its leaves are linear, up to 5 cm long, and its flowers are yellow, with a yellow center and white ray florets.

                            The flower of Saussurea lipschitzii is a small yellow flower with a white center. The seed is a small, black, round seed. The seedlings are small and have a thin stem with two small leaves.
