                        Description
                        
                            Saussurea leucophylla (also called white-leaved saussurea, among many other common names) is a shrub native to the Himalayas. It grows up to a height of 1-3 m and has a woody stem. The leaves are simple, alternate, and lanceolate in shape. The flowers are white and the fruits are achenes. It is found in the temperate regions of the Himalayas, growing in dry and moist deciduous forests.
