                        Cultivation and Propagation

Saussurea frondosa is a perennial herb that can be propagated by seed or division. It prefers moist, well-drained soils in full sun and can tolerate some drought. It can be grown from seed, but it is slow to germinate and may take up to two months. Division is the preferred method of propagation.
