                            Saussurea ainorum (also called Himalayan snow lotus, among many other common names) is a perennial herb that grows up to 1 meter in height. It is native to the Himalayas and is found in alpine meadows and grasslands at elevations between 3,000 and 5,000 meters.                             Saussurea ainorum is a hardy perennial that prefers full sun and well-drained soil. It can be propagated from seed, which should be sown in spring or early summer. The seedlings should be thinned out to a spacing of about 30 cm (12 in) apart.
