                        Cultivation and Propagation

Ruilopezia marcescens is a fast-growing shrub that can reach up to 3 m in height. It is best propagated from cuttings taken from semi-ripe wood in late summer or autumn. The cuttings should be taken from the current season's growth and should be about 10-15 cm long. Place the cuttings in a well-drained medium such as sand, perlite, or vermiculite and keep them in a warm, humid environment. The cuttings should root in 4-6 weeks. Once the cuttings have rooted, they can be transplanted into individual pots and grown on until they are ready to be planted out in their permanent positions.
