                        Cultivation and Propagation

Reichardia baetica is a perennial plant that is best propagated by seed. It should be sown in the spring in a cold frame or in the autumn in a seed bed. When they are large enough to handle, prick the seedlings out into individual pots and grow them on in the greenhouse for at least their first winter. Plant them out into their permanent positions in late spring or early summer, after the last expected frosts. Division in spring is possible, but it is best to divide the clumps as soon as the plants have finished flowering.
