Description

Psychrogeton sphaeroxylus (also called Arctic Cotton Grass, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant that is native to the Arctic tundra and alpine regions of North America, Europe, and Asia. It is a low-growing plant with short stems and tufts of white cotton-like flowers. It prefers wet, boggy areas and moist meadows.
