                            Psychrogeton nigromontanus (also called Black Mountain Flax, among many other common names) is an annual herbaceous plant native to the southeastern United States. It has a basal rosette of leaves and small yellow flowers. It grows in open woodlands, dry grasslands, and disturbed areas.
