                            Psephellus brevifimbriatus (also called Short-fringed Safflower, among many other common names) is an herbaceous perennial plant of the family Asteraceae. It has a basal rosette of leaves, with yellow flowers and a deep taproot. It is native to Europe, Asia, and North Africa, and is found in meadows, grasslands, and disturbed habitats.
