                            Pleiotaxis pulcherrima (also called Beautiful Pleiotaxis, among many other common names) is an herbaceous perennial plant native to South America. It has a clumping habit and can reach up to 1 m in height. It grows in moist, shady areas, such as in tropical rainforests.
