Description
Pleiacanthus spinosus (also called Spiny-finned Angelfish, among many other common names) is a species of marine ray-finned fish from the family Apogonidae. It is found in the Indo-Pacific region from the Red Sea to the Hawaiian Islands, north to the Ryukyu Islands and south to New Caledonia. It is found in coral-rich areas of lagoons and seaward reefs, usually in depths of 3-30 meters.
