Description

Piptocarpha prancei (also called Prance's Piptocarpha, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to South America. It grows to a height of 0.3-1 meter and has a slender, branching stem. The leaves are opposite, ovate to lanceolate, and up to 8 cm long. The flower heads are in dense clusters, and the flowers are white or pink. It is found in open grasslands, scrublands, and along roadsides.
