                            Pilosella subtardans (also called Late-Flowering Mouse-Ear Hawkweed, among many other common names) is a perennial herb that is native to the southeastern United States. It has long, narrow leaves and tall, slender stems with small yellow flowers that appear in the summer. It grows in dry, sandy soils in open woodlands and along roadsides.
