                        Cultivation and Propagation

Pentzia monocephala is a hardy perennial that is easy to propagate from seed. The seeds should be sown in a well-drained soil and lightly covered with soil. They should be kept moist until germination, which usually takes about two weeks. Once the seedlings are established, they can be transplanted into the garden. Pentzia monocephala can also be propagated from cuttings taken in the spring or summer. Cuttings should be taken from the tips of the stems and placed in a rooting medium. They should be kept in a warm, bright location until they have rooted, which usually takes about two weeks.
