                        Description
                        
                            Oriastrum apiculatum (also called 'Apiculate Oriastrum' and 'Apiculate Star-flower', among many other common names) is an evergreen shrub native to Central America and the Caribbean. It has oval-shaped leaves and produces white flowers. It is commonly found in tropical forests, woodlands, and disturbed areas.

                            Oriastrum apiculatum is used as an ornamental plant in gardens and as a houseplant.                             Oriastrum apiculatum has small, yellow flowers and small, round seed pods. The seeds are small and black.
