Mutisia pulcherrima is a perennial herb that grows best in full sun and well-drained soils. Propagation is best done by division or cuttings. Division should be done in the spring or early summer. Cuttings should be taken from the tips of the stems and rooted in a mix of sand and peat moss. Once established, the plants should be watered regularly and fertilized every few months.
