                        Description
                        
                            Ligularia tongolensis (also called Tongol Ligularia, among many other common names) is a perennial plant native to the Himalayas. It has a woody stem and grows up to 1.5 m tall. Its leaves are alternate, lanceolate to oblong-lanceolate, and its flowers are yellow.
