                            Lessingianthus westermanii (also called 'Westerman's Lessingianthus', 'Westerman's Daisy', 'Westerman's Star-thistle' among many other common names) is an annual herb native to South Africa. It grows up to 0.5 m tall and has small, greyish-green leaves and small, white flower heads. It prefers sunny, dry habitats and is commonly found in grasslands, open woodlands, and rocky hillsides.
