Leptinella traillii can be propagated by seed or division. The seeds should be sown in a cold frame in early spring. Division can be done in spring or autumn. Larger divisions can be planted out direct into their permanent positions, though it is best to pot up smaller divisions and grow them on in a cold frame until they are established.
