                            Lasianthaea gentryi (also called Gentry's Lasianthaea, among many other common names) is a perennial herb that grows up to 1 m tall. It is native to the southeastern United States and is found in dry, sunny places such as grasslands and rocky slopes. It has small, purple flowers and wooly, gray-green leaves.
